Terms of Service

Wamikan is a location-sharing web application that allows users to save a physical location — including a GPS pin, landmark photo, and voice note — and share it as a link. It is operated by Yusuf Azeez, an independent software product based in Lagos, Nigeria.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Wamikan. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Wamikan is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account.

You agree not to use Wamikan to:

• Share another person's location without their knowledge or consent
• Stalk, harass, threaten, or harm any individual
• Upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Create fraudulent or misleading location links

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in violation of these terms without prior notice.

When you save a location, Wamikan captures and stores your GPS coordinates. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any location you save. Do not save locations belonging to others without their consent.

You retain ownership of any photos and voice notes you upload to Wamikan. By uploading content, you grant Wamikan a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the service. We do not sell or share your content with third parties.

Paid plans (Pro and Business) are billed on a biannual (every 6 months) or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorise Wamikan to charge your selected payment method via Paystack at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Free accounts are subject to usage limits including a maximum of 2 saved locations and 30-day link expiry. Wamikan reserves the right to modify free tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.

You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time. Wamikan reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.

Wamikan is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wamikan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of Wamikan after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
